SICLIMAT X

Scenario: You want to modify an existing SICLIMAT X configuration.

Prerequisites:

  • System Manager is in Engineering mode.
  • System Browser is in Management View.

 

Steps:

1 – Configuring SICLIMAT X Objects and Properties
  1. Select System Settings > Libraries > L1-Headquarter > BA > Device > Siclimat X > Import Rules.
  1. In the Import Rules tab, open the Objects and Properties expander.
  1. For each PIM, select or enter a specific Object Model.
  1. To configure a copy of an object:
    a. Select an object and click Copy Object.
    b. Repeat Step 3.
    NOTE: To remove a copy of an object, select the object and click Remove Object.
  1. Click Save .
  1. Click OK.
  • The object and properties settings configured are activated and will be applied when importing the XML data.

 

2 – Mapping Instance Attributes
  1. Select System Settings > Libraries > L1-Headquarter > Global > BA > Device > Siclimat X > Import Rules.
  1. In the Import Rules tab, open the Instance Attributes Mapper expander.
  • The instance attributes mapping displays.
  1. If you want to import the mapping from an existing CSV file, proceed as follows:
    a. Click Import.
    b. In the Select the CSV file dialog box, select the file you want to import and click OK.
  1. If you want to modify the existing configuration, select an instance and change one or more of the following parameters:
  • Value of Function Key
    Enter the value of the function key that will identify a specific type of instance.
    It corresponds to APIC in SICLIMAT X OS. This field is required. Alphanumeric values are allowed.
  • Function name
    Select the name of the function that will be associated to the instances of this type.
    Leave this field blank if you do not want to associate a function to this type of instance during the import.
  • Discipline, Subdiscipline, Type, and Subtype
    Select the value that will be associated to the instances of this type.
    If you choose Unassigned, for Discipline, Subdiscipline, Type, or Subtype, all of these fields will assume the value of the original Object Model defined for the object.
  1. If you want to create a new instance attribute, click Add to add a new row; then repeat Step 4.
    NOTE: To remove an instance attribute, select it and click Remove.
  1. Click Save .
  • The instance attributes mapping configured is activated and will be applied when importing XML data.
  1. If you want to export the configuration data to a file for later use, proceed as follows:
    a. Click Export.
    b. In the Export Function Mapping Data dialog box, select the destination folder and click OK.
  • The status bar indicates that the data has been successfully exported.
3 – Mapping Event Classes and Alarm Classes
  1. Select System Settings > Libraries > L1-Headquarter > Global > BA > Device > Siclimat X > Import Rules.
  1. In the Import Rules tab, open the Instance Attributes Mapper expander.
  • The instance attributes mapping displays.
  1. If you want to import the mapping from an existing CSV file, proceed as follows:
    a. Click Import.
    b. In the Select the CSV file dialog box, select the file you want to import and click OK.
  1. If you want to modify the existing configuration, select an instance and change one or more of the following parameters:
  • Value of Function Key
    Enter the value of the function key that will identify a specific type of instance.
    It corresponds to APIC in SICLIMAT X OS. This field is required. Alphanumeric values are allowed.
  • Function name
    Select the name of the function that will be associated to the instances of this type.
    Leave this field blank if you do not want to associate a function to this type of instance during the import.
  • Discipline, Subdiscipline, Type, and Subtype
    Select the value that will be associated to the instances of this type.
